Hudson't First Cardiologist Appointment

On November 11, 2011 Hudson had to go see Dr. Victoria Judd at Primary Children's Hospital in Riverton. He had to go because of the EKG's in the Hospital. I was super nervous to go! Aaron had work so my mom and dad went with me. They did another EKG on him and they also did an ultrasound of his heart. It was so cool to watch! You could see how the heart worked extremely clear and every little valve and vessel. When Dr. Judd came in she asked me questions about heart problems in our family which made me even more nervous thinking that he had something wrong, but she told us that his EKG was completely normal and his heart looks perfect! I was so relieved! She said a lot of times in infants they have prolonged QT, like Hudson did, but they don't always catch it because not every baby born is in the NICU having EKG's done. She says it's normal for them to out grown it and live a normal healthy life! She asked us to come back when he was 6 weeks old just to make sure everything stay's normal!
