Elk Hunting

This year for the Elk hunt we came up to BURRville! And yes, it is COLD here! We came up with Aaron's family- Shawn and Alesha and Brody and Adrema. We have had SO much fun! The boys went out hunting at 6am Saturday morning, they hunted til 10, came back for a few hours, and went out again at 1. I went with them in the afternoon, and ill say... next time I go hunting... ill wait back at camp! It was a lot of fun driving down the road and looking for elk, but when they saw some they went up hunting. Aaron and Shawn climbed up the mountain while Stan and Brayden hiked half of the mountain and we were to stay at the rock, look for Elk and if we saw any to wave them down. Sitting there on that rock was the boringest thing I have ever done! Two hours later Shawn and Aaron came down the mountain and we headed home. This morning the boys left really early again and came back around 2. While they were gone we started making the Troyer Family Recipe book. We have a TON of really good recipes! We also rode the 4-wheelers around all day! When the boys came home we had lunch, and went shooting. The boys left to try and get a spike before the weekend comes to an end. Elle, Nikayla and I rode our 4-wheelers all around town, which consists of 2 blocks! It's so tiny! We had fun, we got chased by a 3 legged dog, saw a "woof" (wolf) that was really a dog, and Elle fell off her 4-wheeler! Good times! Now were just waiting for the boys to get home so we can go home!
