This year our family hosted the first annual Ultimate Pig Wrestling! It was SO much fun, but a TON of work!
Pig Wrestling is where you have a team of four and you try to put a pig in the barrel. Sounds simple? It's not! We have a special mud that they wrestle in! It's hilarious! check out www.ultimatepigwrestle.com
We stated preparing since last year, and really started in June. We went out almost everyday to try and get some sponsors and teams.
Labor Day weekend was crazy! We set up our booth at the carnival on Thursday, sat at in all day Friday, Saturday and Monday! Saturday night was our first go around and it went really well! We had a few quirks that we had to fix for Monday. Monday morning at 4am our alarms went off and we headed to the Salem Rodeo Arena. I had facebooked Casey Scott from 2news and he said he would come out and do a show on us! He came and we had so much fun! Monday night was HUGE! We had over 1500 people come out. We were turning teams away. We can't wait til next year where were hoping to do it in a few different city's!

I went to that website and watched those two videos and that is hilarious! But they make it look so easy! I imagine it isn't really that easy, with the mud and the squirming pig. haha, fun times though!
